Technology
The infrastructure of IPRG uses high performance Linux-Cluster whose capacity adapts to the personal monitoring goals. By virtue of this, an extremely precise image analysis is produced. Using Linux-Cluster allows great flexibility and therefore results in clear cost advantages.
Linux-Cluster for Brandspider Analysis
The image analysis used by IPRG is based on the colour structure
and the textural characteristics of a picture. The colour structure
of a picture is defined by a colour histogram, which analyzes
colours, brightness and gray tones. Decisions about textural characteristics
involves analyzing samples, outlines and various other forms of
the picture’s content. In the context of the IPRG Workflow,
all relevant pages are filed and indexed completely by the Brandspider
analysis.
For a IPRG project, IPRG-servers with sufficient storage capacity
are provided and the IPRG Backend Settings are configured. Apart
from these settings, a regular check of the system can also be
carried out by the IPRG Backend.
The user interface of IPRG is customized for the means of retrieval
of textural and picture-orientated information. It allows web-based
and ssl-protected access to the settings, statistics and statements
of the 6 monitored areas.
